BADLAO Model
The model stands for Biogas Assisted rural Development, Land & Agriculture reform by Organic farming.This project serves the needs of dairy farmers, poultry farmers, gaushalas, educational institutions, religious institutions, industries, etc. The plant's capacity can range from 25 m3 to 500 m3, with a Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) of 40 days.

Benefits of BADLAO Model
- Effective waste management i.e., no storage space is required and reduces dispose off expenses.
- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation on the farm premises.
- The productivity of the animals/birds is increased as the possibility of infections due to animal waste/ litter is reduced.
- Biogas unit converts the gas into power, decreasing the farm's reliance on the electricity grid.
- Additionally, provide clean cooking gas as an alternative to LPG/firewood to the staff of the farm.
- Biogas unit provides a good quality nutrient-rich organic manure rich in N, P, K, which can be sold to the farmers, nurseries, horticulture department, etc.,
- The Manure can be further processed to value-added products like PROM.
- Briquettes from manure is another option that can be used as an alternative to wood for burning.
