1,600 CUM Biogas Plant, RSWK in Jharkhand
A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.
The implementation of a commercial biogas plant at Rugari, an initiative of the Govt. of Jharkhand under the Gobardhan Scheme. The gaushala at Rugari was facing a severe problem of cow dung waste management; 1000 kg of cow dung was accumulating daily, due to which many other issues were emerging. Where both the health of the cows and the people working there were at risk. They required an immediate solution to this.
The only sustainable solution to organic waste management is getting a 40 CUM commercial biogas plant installed; it not only gives a solution but also provides many other remedies, such as a partial cut in electricity bills, lower carbon emissions, and producing organic fertilisers.
Powering Sustainability: 40 CUM Biogas Plant in Action
Watch how the Jharkhand Govt.’s 40 CUM biogas plant under the GOBARdhan initiative converts waste into clean energy. A real example of sustainability, innovation, and rural empowerment in action.
The Gaushala set a number of objectives that they need to overcome through a commercial biogas plant.
01.
To manage the cow dung waste management properly.
02.
To utilise the resources by converting to clean energy.
03.
To lower the rising carbon emissions.
04.
To lower the electricity bills and the costs of fuel.
There are several problems that the Gaushala at Rugari has been facing for quite some time.
Daily, 1000 kg of cow dung gets accumulated in the Gaushala, which creates an unhygienic environment and bad smells.
There is no proper way of disposing of the cow dung waste at the Gaushala.
Due to the ineffective way of disposing of the organic waste, there is an increase in the carbon footprint.
The impact after installing a commercial biogas plant is tremendous; it resolves the problem instantly and gives a remedy for the following issue.
The commercial biogas plant enables structural and efficient processing of cow dung waste, reducing environmental hazards.
A Biogas Plant provides an authentic and systematic method to discard the cow dung waste.
A direct reduction in carbon emissions is enabled after installing the Gobar gas plant.
The Gobar gas plant produces the electricity & fuel as well, due to which it partially cuts the costs in both electricity and fuel.
