1,600 CUM Biogas Plant, RSWK in Jharkhand
A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.
Sibani Behra, located in Odisha, operates a poultry farm with around 30,000 birds. Managing the daily poultry litter waste had become a major challenge, while increasing electricity and fuel expenses were adding pressure on farm operations. The farm also wanted to improve its environmental practices and reduce waste-related pollution.
To address these issues, a Commercial Biogas Plant with a 250 CUM capacity was installed. The system efficiently converts poultry waste into biogas and organic manure, helping the farm improve waste management, generate renewable energy, reduce operational costs, and support long-term sustainable farming practices.
From Waste to Wealth: 250 CUM Biogas Plant Success Story in Odisha
Watch how a 250 CUM biogas plant in Odisha is converting organic waste into clean energy. This case study highlights real impact, sustainability, and efficient resource utilization for a greener future.
Supporting efficient poultry waste management and renewable energy generation.
01.
To manage poultry litter waste in an organised and eco-friendly manner
02.
To generate renewable energy from poultry waste
03.
To reduce dependence on conventional electricity and fuel sources
04.
To improve sustainability and environmental performance
Handling poultry waste effectively while controlling operational expenses.
Waste generated from 30,000 birds required continuous and proper management.
Rising electricity and fuel expenses were affecting farm efficiency.
Improper waste disposal could increase pollution and carbon emissions.
Creating long-term operational and environmental benefits through a Commercial Biogas Plant.
Regular waste processing has improved hygiene and reduced foul odour around the farm.
Poultry waste is now being converted into useful energy and organic by-products instead of being discarded.
The use of biogas has helped reduce reliance on conventional fuel sources for daily operations.
The Commercial Biogas Solution converted their daily poultry litter into valuable energy.
