400 CUM Biogas Plant, Anjali AgriLife in Odisha

A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.

400 CUM Biogas Plant, Anjali AgriLife in Odisha

Anjali AgriLife, situated in Odisha, operates a large-scale poultry farm with approximately 40,000 birds. Managing the significant volume of poultry litter generated daily had become a major operational and environmental challenge. In addition, rising electricity costs, fuel dependency, and increasing carbon emissions were affecting overall sustainability.

To overcome these issues, a Commercial Biogas Plant with a capacity of 400 CUM was implemented. The system was designed to convert poultry waste into renewable energy while producing organic manure as a valuable by-product. The solution was adopted through trusted references and word-of-mouth recommendations, reinforcing confidence in biogas technology.

Challenges

Managing Scale, Sustainability, and Operational Efficiency

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

High Volume Waste Generation

Large quantities of poultry litter were being generated daily from 40,000 birds, making disposal difficult and inefficient.

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

Increasing Energy Costs

Heavy dependence on external electricity sources was driving up operational expenses.

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

Environmental Impact Concerns

Carbon emissions were generated through traditional waste-disposal and energy-use methods.

Impact

Delivering Measurable Environmental and Economic Gains.

Efficient Poultry Waste Management

Poultry litter is now effectively processed through the Commercial Biogas Plant, significantly reducing disposal challenges.

On-Site Renewable Energy Generation

Electricity is partially generated on-site, reducing reliance on external power sources.

Organic Manure Production

Biogas slurry is utilized to produce nutrient-rich organic manure, adding value to farm operations.

Reduced Carbon Emissions

Carbon emissions have been significantly reduced, creating a positive environmental impact.
