1000 CUM Biogas Plant, Hindustan Hatcheries in Jharkhand
A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.
1000 CUM Biogas Plant, Hindustan Hatcheries in Jharkhand
Hindustan Hatcheries, situated in Jharkhand, operates a large-scale poultry farm with over 1,00,000 birds. Managing the massive volume of poultry litter generated daily had become a critical operational and environmental challenge. Rising electricity costs, reliance on conventional fuels, and increasing carbon emissions were also affecting efficiency and sustainability.
To address these issues, a Commercial Biogas Plant with a capacity of 1000 CUM was installed. The system was designed to efficiently convert poultry waste into clean energy while generating organic manure as a valuable by-product. The solution was adopted through strong references and word-of-mouth recommendations, highlighting confidence in proven biogas technology.
Transforming Poultry Waste into Sustainable Energy
Watch how Venco Research (UP) developed a 1000 CUM Biogas Plant for efficient waste-to-energy conversion, sustainable fuel production, and eco-friendly industrial operations with advanced renewable energy solutions.
Objectives
Enabling Sustainable and Scalable Poultry Operations.
01.
To implement a robust poultry litter management system at scale
02.
To reduce dependency on conventional electricity and fuel sources
03.
To minimize carbon emissions and environmental impact
04.
To generate renewable energy and organic manure from waste
Challenges
Addressing High-Volume Waste and Energy Demands.
Massive Poultry Waste Generation
Large volumes of poultry litter were being generated daily from over 1,00,000 birds, making disposal complex and resource-intensive.
High Energy Consumption
Significant reliance on external electricity sources was increasing operational costs.
Environmental Sustainability Concerns
Carbon emissions were generated by traditional waste-handling and energy-use practices.
Impact
Delivering Large-Scale Environmental and Operational Benefits.
Efficient Waste Processing
Poultry litter is now effectively managed through the Commercial Biogas Plant, significantly reducing disposal challenges.
On-Site Power Generation
Electricity is partially generated on-site, reducing dependence on external energy sources.
Organic Manure Production
Biogas slurry is converted into nutrient-rich organic manure, adding value to farm outputs.
Reduced Carbon Emissions
Carbon emissions have been significantly reduced, creating a strong positive impact on the environment.
