Mazaco Enterprise, located in Sikkim, was facing a major challenge in managing approximately 1000 kg of poultry litter waste daily. Traditional disposal methods were not only inefficient but also contributed to rising carbon emissions and increasing operational costs, including electricity and fuel expenses.
To address these issues, a Commercial Biogas Plant of 100 CUM capacity was adopted. This solution was implemented to convert poultry waste into useful energy and organic by-products.
