200 Cum Biogas Plant, Fresenius Kabi Oncology Ltd.(Kolkata)
Fresenius Kabi Oncology Ltd., a leading cancer drug manufacturing company in Kolkata, West Bengal, generates a significant volume of dry 2000 kg of Taxus baccata leaves waste as a by-product of its production process. Disposal of this leaf waste posed a major operational and environmental challenge. To address this, Koshish Sustainable Solutions Pvt. Ltd. installed a 200 Cum Commercial biogas plant that utilises these dry leaves as feedstock. The generated biogas is effectively used in the company canteen for cooking meals for approximately 2,000 employees, creating a sustainable waste-to-energy model.
Transforming Waste into Energy: Real Impact in Action
Watch how the 200 Cum biogas plant at Fresenius Kabi Oncology Ltd., Kolkata converts organic waste into clean energy. A powerful example of sustainable innovation reducing costs and environmental footprint.
