1,600 CUM Biogas Plant, RSWK in Jharkhand
A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.
Chaitra Poultry Farms, located in Belgaum, confronted a major problem of poultry litter management; 25,000 birds generated a substantial amount of litter every day. Managing it became a challenge, which attracted multiple other problems also. They required a solution that could get rid of all the problems together.
Handling the litter from 25,000 birds was a specific operational problem. Through online research, Koshish Sustainable Solutions Pvt. Ltd. subsequently selected a 250 CUM Commercial Biogas Plant as an ideal solution to address poultry litter management issues, rising power generation costs, increasing carbon emissions, odour concerns, and environmental pollution.
Turning Poultry Waste into Powerful Green Energy
Watch how the 250 CUM biogas plant at Chaitra Poultry Farms converts poultry waste into clean, renewable energy. A smart, sustainable solution that reduces waste, cuts energy costs, and supports eco-friendly farming practices.
The main focus of Chaitra Poultry Farms was to adopt an eco-friendly solution to achieve their objectives effectively.
01.
To streamline proper poultry litter management for 25,000 birds.
02.
Improve the unhealthy and unhygienic environment of the poultry farm.
03.
To lower the carbon footprint and control pollution due to improper management of poultry litter.
04.
To control the bad smell and lower the power generation costs.
A single problem caused multiple others as well, so adopting a solution that is effective for all the problems at once was important.
Due to the absence of an efficient management system, the farm allowed poultry litter to accumulate, making disposal increasingly difficult.
The accumulated litter poses a pollution problem, which leads to a carbon footprint.
As a result, the environment became unhygienic and disease-prone for the birds.
The commercial biogas plant had directly resolved all the problems that Chaitra Poultry had been facing for a long time.
The commercial biogas plant transformed the poultry litter waste into renewable energy, which was used for several purposes.
Additionally, the effective use of a commercial biogas plant lowered the carbon emissions from the farm’s activities.
Subsequently, the farm improved the environment for the birds; no piled-up litter waste was seen, and both the health and hygiene were maintained.
Lastly, due to the commercial biogas plant, there is a direct reduction in the power generation bills since they can generate electricity of their own.
