1,600 CUM Biogas Plant, RSWK in Jharkhand
A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.
Birbal Mandal Poultry Farms in Jharkhand struggled with a major problem of large-scale Poultry Litter Management, produced from the 45,000 birds present on the farm. The piled-up and unmanaged poultry litter waste led to disposal problems, a rise in pollution, and increased power generation costs. The farm required a single, effective solution to address these interconnected issues.
Through online research and a trusted reference, the Birbal Mandal Poultry Farm identified Koshish Sustainable Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as compatible for this and got a 400 CUM Commercial Biogas Plant to efficiently manage the waste while reducing energy costs, carbon emissions, and Odour issues.
Transforming Poultry Waste into Sustainable Energy
Discover how the 400 CUM Biogas Plant at Birbal Mandal Poultry Farms, Jharkhand converts poultry waste into clean and renewable energy, improving sustainability, reducing waste, and supporting eco-friendly farming practices.
There are various objectives that the farm wants to overcome for the smooth functioning of its operations.
01.
To build an effective way to manage the high-volume poultry litter every day.
02.
Furthermore, reduce the environmental impact by lowering the carbon emissions.
03.
Additionally, to reduce the dependency on grid power by lowering the power generation costs.
04.
Lastly, converting the poultry litter into renewable energy and making use of it for various purposes.
The sole motive of the Birbal Mandal Poultry Farms is to overcome all the challenges and achieve the set objectives.
A massive amount of poultry litter is generated from the 45,000 birds every day.
Due to the dependency on the grid power and other fuels, there is a rise in operational expenses.
Improper discarding of the litter waste creates a bad smell in the farms, which eventually leads to pollution.
After getting the commercial biogas plant installed, the farm resolved most of its operational problems.
The farm strives to manage the poultry litter management process after implementing the commercial biogas plant.
As a result, the farm lowers its Bad smell and carbon emissions problems.
The power generation costs are lowered as a commercial biogas plant helps in generating its own electricity.
The commercial biogas plant converts poultry litter into clean energy, which produces biogas and organic manure.
