Case Study

Krishnayan Gaushala (MP Govt.) 85 CUM commercial biogas plant

A 5kW residential solar solution installed for Rekha Pathak in Ghaziabad to power a sustainable home.

Krishnayan Gaushala (MP Govt.) 85 CUM commercial biogas plant

Krishnayan Gaushala, supported by the Madhya Pradesh Government, adopted an 85 CUM commercial biogas plant to address the growing challenge of cow dung management. With increasing environmental concerns and rising fuel costs, the gaushala required a sustainable solution to efficiently utilise cattle waste. The implementation of biogas technology enabled the conversion of cow dung into clean energy, helping reduce carbon emissions, dependency on LPG, and overall fuel consumption while improving operational efficiency.

Powering Sustainability: Inside the 85 CUM Biogas Success Story

Watch how the Krishnayan Gaushala biogas plant transforms organic waste into clean energy. This real case study showcases efficient design, sustainability, and the impact of renewable solutions in action.

Objectives

The main focus is on waste utilisation, reducing fuel dependency through renewable energy solutions.

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

01.

To manage the Cow dung in an appropriate and sustainable manner.

02.

To reduce the carbon footprint by eliminating the organic waste.

03.

To lower the dependency on LPG and other natural resources.

04.

To produce eco-friendly waste to energy solutions.

Challenges

Address the various waste management inefficiencies, environmental concerns, and rising fuel costs.

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

Dung Management Issues

Large volumes of cow dung required systematic and efficient handling.

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

Environmental Impact

Unmanaged waste contributed to methane emissions and pollution.

Koshish Sustainable Solutions

High Fuel Dependency

Reliance on LPG and traditional fuels increased operational expenses.

Impact

Commercial Biogas Plant brings many positive impact to these problems.

Reduce the Carbon Footprint

The Commercial Biogas plant emits a controlled amount of Methane gas from the 2200kg cow dung daily.

Lower Fuel Cost

Commercial Biogas Plant reduces the dependency on LPG and other natural fuels.

Proper Waste Utilisation

The cow dung is converted into clean energy, which comes in handy in many ways.

Sustainable Operations

The adoption of Commercial Biogas Plant has streamlined the way of working in Gaushalas; they have become self-sufficient & sustainable.
